"Thomas (Tom) Scheid, born on January 2. 1952, died on December 27, 2022.

He had been in a nursing home since 1998. His diagnosis was Alcoholic Amnesia.

He died of cancer. I am his sister.

I'm not sorry that he died. He can no longer hurt me physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually.

He spent the last 26 years in a nursing home diagnosed with Alcoholic Amnesia. He lost almost his entire memory after 1975. His brain could not deal with his horridness."
