Graduated from Clarion University of PA in 1983 with a B.S. in Communications. I joined the Sigma Chi Franternity in Spring 1980. After graduation I moved to the Washington, D.C. area and lived there from 1983 till 1989 when I returned to N. Huntingdon to raise my family. While in D.C. I worked for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as an Editorial Assistant and for the Department of the Navy (civilian) as an Editorial Assistant/Congressional Liaison in the Pentagon. I also worked for a Defense Department contractor called SEMCOR as a Senior Editor.
When I returned to PA I spent time as a Proposal Editor for Adtranz (AEG Westinghouse Transportation Systems) and for Union Switch & Signal. Since 2001 I've since taken a change in my career path and now I'm in sales and I sell telecommunications services to businesses throughout Pittsburgh. I've worked for Choice One Communications, Penn Telecom, FiberNet, Comcast, and Cavalier Communications.
