Jay and I were inseparable from Kindergarten through the time I left Irwin in 1984. He was an usher in my wedding in 1985 as I was for him and Val in 1989. Our back yards were next to each other.We hunted. We fished. We were in the Irwin Fire Dept. He was simply the best friend I ever had. I tell my grown sons about him all the time. We'll all meet again someday, Jaybird. Obey the command of Our Savior to "Love one another as I have loved you." for it can all end way too soon.
