Michelle Weiss Vereen

I have been teaching for 12 years primarily first grade and would like to continue working on my Masters Degree in Education. Our family resides in Little River. Our oldest daughter graduated from NMBHS this year, but attended The Academy for Arts and Science with an interest in pre-med. She was the first student allowed to help in the ER (Grand Strand Hospital) during her high school internship program. Our middle daughter, Lauren, will also attend The Academy for Arts and Science (interest in Education-maybe), our youngest daughter Ashtin will be in 7th grade and loves to hang out with her friends (mostly at the mall- where else)? My husband Dwayne works for an electric company and has his own landscape business on the side. He stays very busy. Between teaching and running my kids here, there and everywhere I love to read, shop, and vacation.

I will never forget the day that I was in Chemistry class (I can't remember who my partner was), but we put the wrong chemicals in a glass jar and when the chemicals reacted, the glass jar exploded! I thought I was going to be expelled! Thank goodness I wasn't. The sad thing is we didn't do it on purpose, we just didn't know what we were doing.
