Want to brag about your children/grandchildren? 2 children, Christine 46, born 1968; Mark; born 1970, 44

4 Grandchildren. Anna 1996, Rachel More…1999, Robert 2002 and Samuel 2006... I spend a lot of time in Hinckley now....as that is where my grandchildren attend. Highland HIGH is not the country school we knew, its this vast new bldg filled w/things to learn that we could only have dreamed of. My grandaughter Anna is a freshman now and is A P in math, science, spanish, SHE did NOT take after me... I was ok she is NHS........Rachel too is following suit. Robert and Sam now are at this lovely country grade school. I spend time in Sagamore Hills w/my adult son. FUNNY both my kids live in townships..thought they were extinct. I recall Royalton being a township a long time ago. Strongsville is just across the street from N Royalton, we got far. THATS meant as joke... ITS so comfy having Royalton direct across the street as I still have family living there and generations have now attended North Royalton High. 3 cousins Prom Queen's, me 63, Judy Donda 65, and Carrie Bena, 75. I suspect there's a girl or two on the horizon, daughter's of cousins attending Royalton who may well share that title.

Looking forward to meeting and visiting with former classmates.

I have spent a large number of years in volunteering, using my psych nursing additional training as to work w/the dying at Holy Family Home...I suffered a near life-threatening illness at 30 and I had to maintain a balance as to outside work and my family IT turned out fine as I am here,.............I did this for 8 years, volunteering, I HIGHLY recommend this to any and all as it is a greater
benefit to YOU. I taught H S Catholic Religion Classes at my church, they were enjoyable... as well as 8th grade, which I LOATHED! 8th graders that is, I HAVE NO IDEA how anyone could LOVE TEACHING! My husbands work for years was one where I was called upon to be present at dinners, entertain people I HAD NOT MET TILL THAT VERY NITE at my home, became used to this as always comfortable in my own home, attended social events that were okay, BUT not as to my suiting always..I LOVE people, but NOT fake ones! Spot one a mile away. LOL Sorry just calling it as I saw it. Most people have many insecurities and they, NOT ALL, but some need to compensate as to their actions and verbiage. It was a very interesting RIDE.. as Cy no longer is in this line of work. Large Industrial Equipment Sales after 40 years ~~I was/am and will always be a very family-oriented woman, raised to be such, JUST need to be, life is fragile and hard..the greatest gift is to prepare the young in your life as to all things that will prepare them as they journey. Always inspiring love of God, country, and family. They GET this right? They will succeed in anything. Now I enjoy a 'peace' , its delicious, age has seasoned me and its all fine. Life has been a great blessing even the hurts and losses, I delight in the embraces of my grandchildren, lucky were we to marry young, have children fast, and grandkids at 51yrs old, the first one, and one after another after that. My bond w/my children and grandchildren are beyond words, and they are well aware as it is equally felt between us........what more could we ask for at our ages, eh?
School Story:

I LOVED my H S years! So much to recall and so many people I have cherished memories of.

Hello Sandra, I am Esther Ventura classmate of Barb Thompson. She and I were great friends. I know she married, John Clausen correct? We had kept in touch till they married and as life would have it we all got busy.. She and I truly were good friends class of 63. She was the sweetest girl.I had heaed she passed and it was far after she did. It saddened me greatly. If she is your sister... You were blessed. My best wishes to you and your family.
