Is anyone interested in handling decorations and set up of a table for shared memorabilia?

we have a small budget and a local sign company to provide a couple banners alteady. You may have to coordinate the banner design with them and handle pick up.

maybe a couple of people that still live locally?

Remember that if you have any items like yearbooks, newspaper articles etc to bring them with you.

18 days until the reunion gang!

So far not a huge turnout so please reach out to anyone you have contact info for!

There are people coming from some long distances like Washington State, Wyoming, Ohio, Cape Cod even Alaska!

Spread the word and use any means you can think of to notify people.

I want to stress to everyone as well that a reservation is not necessary if people want to come at the last minute!

I have decided to not post the names of reunion attendees.
There are people coming from out of town and I would not want to compromise their security.

As of today there are 38 people attending and a handful of maybes.
Continue to alert people and remember that you can pay at the door. Please have exact dollar amount in cash.

The food will be available from noon to three Thursday. The DJ will be spinning from 12:30 to 3:30!

Please check in at an assigned place and name tags will be there. If unreserved please bring exact amount of $50/ person.

Please continue to urge people to attend and please bring anything like yearbooks or pictures to be on display.

Cicero area traffic alert:  Continuing now for the last few months, primary and secondary roads' traffic patterns have been quite disrupted.
The I-81 (Nedrow - Brewerton route, through the city of Syracuse) & I-481 (Jamesville - Fulton route, eastern beltway around Syracuse) corridors are in a constant state of flux, with various leap-frogging construction related delays.  For us, the main issue will be the huge project going on around the Circle Drive, N Syracuse area (used to have Sears & Roebuck store, but now known as Burdick's Drivers Village auto dealership area).  Try to avoid I-81 SOUTHBOUND between Cicero and N Syracuse, as three lanes merge into one and traffic is often backed up over a half mile.  Going south from Rte 31 in Cicero, either use Rte 11 or, as Thompson Rd is closed at Rte 31 due an interesting round-about being constructed, head down South Bay Rd and turn left onto Thompson Rd at the intersection by Kinney Drugs, just before Gillette Rd Middle School (beyond Gillette Rd MS, just below Pine Grove Rd, the South Bay Rd bridge over I-81is closed to southbound traffic).  As John might say, fins up you herd of cats!

Thanks Sam for the traffic alert!

I have been told that the venue will be inside and outside. Be sure to bring a sweater or sweatshirt if wanting to hang outside. Only going to be around 68 degrees tomorrow! But at least sunny! Not bad for Syracuse!

There will be a check in table near the entrance to the party area. Please check in and fill out name tags.
Frank DiOrio and Mike Rose will be manning the check in.

The party area is not in The restaurant itself. It is in a facility towards the rear of the property. Should be easy to find. I am told there is a gate to enter through.

Please bring phones and cameras to take pictures to share with people that could not attend.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Safe travels to all!

Finz up!

John

Yes John, you did an excellent job preparing for the 55th Class Reunion as well as everyone who helped & assisted you.  Even thou there weren't as many attending this one as our 50th it was a pleasure visiting the classmates that did attend. We have lost many of our classmates from both schools & it seems like everry year we lose more. You do an excellent job keeping us all informed..

I also  am looking forward to the next one.

Thank you & take care of yourself, get that leg healed!!!!

Donna

Still trying to set up a picture gallery for the recent reunion. Having some issues with file space, etc.

In the meantime if you want to show a picture you have try adding it on the What's New section of the home page.

I will post an announcement once I can get the gallery set up

Take the time too to update your profile and if you want include your contact info on your profile so folks can reach you directly.

You should be able to post pictures and comments under the What's New section.

Still working on creating more file space.

10/23/25 09:24 AM #764

Mark Cordone

John, is there a cost to add more file space which you are incurring. Please advise and I will kick in some cash as I am sure others will too.

Mark

10/23/25 11:09 AM #765

John Vincent

Mark,

Not sure the cost is worthwhile for the way we use the site. Appreciate the gesture.

Maybe you can look at the site as an Admin? I think you and Frank are designated Admins?

(You are way more tech savvy than me!) lol!

Hope all is well!

Lets talk soon!

John
