First met Flo when I was 14. He was older but always a stand up friend. We had many good times and he was always true to himself. Some crazy days at The Old Schoolroom! Sad to hear of his passing. Someone you thought would never die.
Florian "Flo" Gentile, 68, of Mattydale,died Sunday, April 29. Flo was born in Syracuse to the late Sebastian Harriet (Banach) Gentile. He was a 1968 graduate of North Syracuse High School who resided in Mattydale most of his life. Flo worked as a self-employed contractor and was a music connoisseur. Flo enjoyed racing cars and motorcycles. He was predeceased by a sister, Maria Gentile, in 2013. Flo is survived by a son, Aaron (Alisha) Gentile of Houston, TX and a daughter, Michelle Tortura of Brewerton; his brother: Thomas Gentile of Mattydale; and a grandson, Xander.
