I met Suss my first day in 7th grade and had many memorable times with him including fishing, broomball and of course the track. It will be tough to have a reunion without him, but I know he's picking winners somewhere.

Suss was a very hard person to get to know. He was shy, bashful at times and even withdrawn around many people.
Make no mistake though that whenever he did weigh in on a conversation it was always funny, original, sometimes sarcastic, but always memorable!
Many of the best laughs I ever had were listening to Suss comment on anything!
I'm positive there will be alot of "Suss" stories at the reunion! He would even bet on that!

Suss was an original. Never have known anyone quite like him. He and I played basketball against each other as well as on the same teams. I remember that he would show up at  the (outdoor ) courts at NS in the heat of summer with long pants on.  (I don't think Dave like shorts)  The world is a poorer place with out Suss. Yes he was a man with a quiet manner but one of the toughest guys you could imagine. His subtle wit, always got me laughing like no else ever could. I think he was a kind of " genius" in his own unique way.  Just can't believe he's gone. It makes me so very sad.   Greg Mort  (Ashton Maryland)
