Karen (Naumann) Mutter Karen Naumann Wright Mutter March 11, 2010 Karen Naumann Wright Mutter, 58, of Howey-in-the-Hills, FL, died Thursday, March 11, 2010 after a long battle with breast cancer. She was the daughter of Harold P. and Dorothy Cortright Naumann Jr. She grew up in North Syracuse and graduated from Cicero High School where she was active in the music program. After graduation in 1970, Karen lived for many years in Minoa before moving to Florida. She was a shipping specialist for several trucking services. She was predeceased by her son, Scott J. Wright, in 2007. Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Steve Mutter; a daughter, Cindy Wright of Howey-in-the-Hills; a sister, Susan E. (Joe) Valentino of Liverpool; two brothers, H. Bruce (Jan) Naumann of North Syracuse and Donald R. (Sharon) Naumann of Maryland; six grandchildren and nine nieces and nephews. Services will be held Friday, March 26, at 7 p.m. at Fergerson Funeral Home, 215 South Main Street, North Syracuse preceded by calling hours from 4 to 7 pm. Private graveside services will be in North Syracuse Cemetery. Donations may be made, in lieu of flowers, to Cornerstone Hospice Foundation, 2445 Lane Park Rd., Tavares, FL 32778.
