Very sad to hear about Tom. We attended Main Street Elementary together up until 4th grade and shared many footbal games in his yard!

I will always remember him as Tommy Yuckel and cherish those early memories of our lives!

What I also remember is how many times him and I were sent to stand in the hall in third grade!

My condolences and prayers to his family.

I was very sad to hear about Tom's passing. He and Steve Schieffelin were my neighbors when I moved to NS from Mattydale in 8th grade.

I remember when he and the family moved out to Verplank Rd. and I rode my bike out there to see him. At least Davis Rd. was still intact across the swamp.

RIP Tom, and condolences to the family!!!,

I remember Tommy as a kid who lived on Helen street in North Syracuse. Best Memeory--Was when our 8th grade phy-ed teacher at Roxborro-Mr. Nichols, on a rainy day, opened up the  seperating curtain of the gym and had us divided into 2 teams to play baseball with a bat and small kickball. The rules--Hit the basketball backboard on the other side of second base with the kickball and you got an automatic double; Hit the baskball rim and you got an automatic triple; have the kickball make a basket and it was a homerun. Well, if you weren't there it would be almost impossible to believe, but Tommy hit the ball with the bat and it went through the far away hoop! I remember looking at his face as he hit that ball, tongue hanging out the side of his mouth as he gave it all he had and I dare say that it was one of the mose pleasurable memories I have from Roxborro.
