LIB AND I HAD BEEN FRIENDS DATING BACK TO MIDDLE SCHOOL AND IT REMAINED THAT WAY THROUGH OUT THE YEARS. SHE WAS MARRIED TO A GREAT GUY AND HAD 2 VERY NICE KIDS. I AM BLESSED TO HAVE SHARED A LIFELONG FRIENDSHIP WITH HER. SHE WAS TRULY A KIND HEARTED BEING AND IS GREATLY MISSED.

Elizabeth Letham Woolridge Obituary
July 10, 2009 Elizabeth "Libby" Letham Woolridge, 57, of Pennellville, passed away at University Hospital, Syracuse, with her loving family and longtime friend Mel Joss by her side. Libby graduated from Cicero High School, Class of 1970. For many years she was employed by Syracuse China. Later she became a school bus driver for Phoenix Central schools. Libby was a devoted wife, mother, sister and friend. Her hobbies included singing, playing guitar, softball, bowling, NASCAR and golf. She had a passion for politics and was a huge fan of Barbara Striesand. Predeceased by her mother, Marguerite; her father, Robert Rabe; her brother, Richard Letham; and her sister, Sheila Rabe Crowell. Libby is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Westley "Wes" Woolridge; a daughter, Stefanie; a son, Westley Jr.; sisters, Susan (Don) Cummins, Linda (Gary) Coffey, Deb Rabe (Kathy Fiello); brothers, Jim (Margie) Letham and John Letham; several nieces, nephews; and many loyal friends. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2009, at Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, Phoenix, NY. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at the funeral home, 431 Main Street, Phoenix. Burial will follow in Pine Plains Cemetery, 8686 Henry Clay Blvd., Clay, NY. At the conclusion of her burial, friends and family are invited for a gathering at the VFW Post 5540, 70 Culvert St., Phoenix, NY, on the second floor. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Libby's memory to The Michael E. Connolly Endowment Fund for Lung Cancer Research, 750 E. Adams St., Syracuse, NY 13210.
