I am saddened by the loss of Stanley, I knew him since Kindergarten at Cicero. We had some great times snowmobiling in the late 60's!  There were quite a number of us that used to ride together.  Stanley had an underpowered machine, but he always kept up. He was a great guy with with a good attitude.

i am very very sad to hear about Stanley.  i hung around with him a lot in high school and he was a really nice guy.  rest in peace Stan.

Stanley E. "Stan" Costick Obituary

Stanley E. Costick, 62, of Cicero, died Tuesday, March 4 at St. Joseph's Hospital after a brief illness. He graduated from Cicero High School and SUNY Morrisville with a degree in commercial cooking. He worked at Mr. Steak and retired from American Airlines at Hancock Airport. Stan was a 44 year member and past fire commissioner and past deputy chief of the Cicero Fire Department. He was a former member of the Pastime Athletic Club. He was an ardent Yankee fan and enjoyed SU sports. He was predeceased by his parents, Stanley L. and Eunice M. (Haven) Costick; and his fiance, Doris Spier.

He is survived by his sisters, Barbara Jump of Auburn and Darlene of Cicero; nephew, Michael (Mary) Jump; niece, MaryBeth (Ken) Howell; also survived by great nieces, Colleen, Jenna and Bethany Jump; and great nephews, Matthew and Dylan Howell.

Calling Hours: Thursday 3 to 7 p.m. at Sears Middleton-Jones Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, NY. Services: Friday, 10 a.m. at Sears Middleton-Jones Funeral Home. Burial: Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay, NY.

Contributions: Cicero Fire Deptartment, or St. Lukes, Auburn, NY, or NAVAC.
