i retired from DeGraff after 37 years and have been working at the VA for 7 years. It was a wonderful career move for me. I love giving back to our veteran's. It is a great place to work. As a nurse I am thanked almost daily by at least one of the veteran's for taking care of them! What a wonderful feeling to be thanked by those who have fought for my freedom and protected our country. I am currently the OR Manager. While it's been challenging and rewarding, I will soon be moving in to the Surgical Quality Nurse position. Which I intend to be my final career shift until retirement.
