Come on class of 1972. Our 50th is nearly here. I'm going. Those of you on the fence about attending, COME! This is likely to be our final get-together. The only time we'll see each other after this will be at funerals. I don't know about you but I'd rather see my close friends from that time while we're alive. Don't wait any longer. Do yourself a favor now and send in your activity fee and make plans to come! Hell, if you can't afford it, let me know and I'll pay the fee for you. Now you don't have an excuse not to attend. If you never liked me, this is your last chance to tell me. Let me know that I was such an asshole and never treated you decently. Just come! If you secretly loved me, defiantly come! Now that both of my marriages have ended I could use a little good news like that. Just come! If we were good friend (you know who you are), come on Sarge and Banksy and all the rest, COME! Get off the island for a weekend. Leave the farm animals for a little while. They'll get along without you. Not sure if I will. How many "remember when"s can we come up with? Enough to last the whole weekend, and more. This is our Last Waltz. You gotta come! How bout old girlfriends? The one that's still alive. How would it be for us to have some time together? Some private time to go over what's been going on since the last time. The things that worked out, and those that didn't. Deeply sorry for your loss. Come on! we both never wanted to go to any of the school functions. This one is different. This one I'm going to and I hope you will too. Everybody, COME!

Even if many years go by without seeing an old friend, there's that feeling they're out there somewhere - and sooner or later our paths will cross again. Does anybody know the details of Darrell's death? He had severe allergies - maybe that's what did him in? Anybody know for sure?
