Graduated and then attended Texas Christian University ( Go TCU ), upon graduation, attended Our Lady of The Lake University in San Antonio, Texas and received a Master's Degree.
I have spent my career working as an Administrator for programs that serve severely emotionally disturbed children. I ran a residential treatment program for 65 children between the ages of 2-12 that had been severely abused for several years , worked in a private practice conducting psychotherapy with children, adolescents and families and then became the Director of Psychiatry for Cook Children's Medical Center in Ft. Worth for the next 15 years.
In my " spare time" my daughter's and I have raised Miniature Shih-Tzu puppies.
We now have three dogs and two Persian cats.
For those of you who knew my Mom and Dad. They moved to Ft. Worth about 10 years ago and live right down the street from us. My Mom will be 83 this summer and Dad will be 95 in August. They will celebrate their 60th Wedding anniversary in July. They are doing very well and they love the Texas " weather"!!
