The homey atmosphere - Teachers and Students all knew each other and really cared about each other.
The Hot Healthy Cafeteria meals for 25cents- all home cooked - that was very important to those of us who went directly to the arena for figure skating and often did not get home until late.
Cadet Days - I think they should bring them back.
Mr. McSpadden taught me at Holbrook, was shop teacher at Burgessville and when I got to NDHS he was there teaching Shop and Math.
Mrs. Miller would be so proud to know that I even still have my Home Ec apron.
I will never forget the day that Mr. St.John took my "Tale of Two Cities" comic version book - I was shaking in my shoes when I went to the office to retrieve after school.
Helping Mrs. Bucholtz file the student pictures in their respective files except for the Strachan Triplets - we just put them on Mr. Strachan's desk for him to file.
Failing my Grade 12 Chemistry by l mark but going back and taking Special Commercial plus my Chemistry sure paid off when my husband bought his Ambulance Business.

Are you looking forward to the reunion?

Yes - seeing old classmates and if we even recognize them.

My Brother lives in Norwich.

How often do you get back to Norwich?

To visit or go the Bakery.

What do you do now?

Federal & Provincial Elections - work in the ROs' office as Inventory and Shipping Clerk and whatever else they want me to do.

How did you get into that line of work?

Being in the right place at the right time.

What did you always want to do that you haven't done yet?

Nothng really - if something pops up that I think would be interesting i just do it.

Changed my mind - that is allowed - I would love to go to the Kentucky Derby ay Churchill Downs.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Travel
Knit, Crochet, learning to quilt, try to keep an eye on my two youngest grandchildren when their mother is working - ages 13 & 16.
Baseball Spring Training in Dunedin, Florida with my sister in March every year.

How old do you feel?

Not old at all. I'm too busy trying to stay young.

Any grey hair yet? Women don't have to honestly answer this one:)

No and it is my own.

Lord only knows.

Did you have any nicknames in school?

Not that I remember.

Biggest thing you would do differently if you went back to your time at NDHS?

Nothing really. I really enjoyed my time at NDHS

Coffee with Bailey's
Kuyper's Sloe Gin with Squirt

Favorite sports?

All Winter Sports and Baseball - those Toronto Blue Jays are doing great so far this year.

Favorite Food?

I like almost everything - my mother taught me to eat everything

Favorite Movies?

Gone With the Wind, Oklahoma - remember that operetta that we did at NDHS. El Cid, Titanic, etc.

Favorite Music?

Country, Easy Listening, Certain of the Classics.

Famous or interesting people you've met?

Almost everyone I meet is interesting

Cool things you've done in your life?

I've worked in many fields - both administrative and physical and have enjoyed every phase.

Any words of wisdom?

Always look at th ings in a positive way - life is too short for any negativity.

Variety is the Spice of Life.

Many, many times.

NO

Ever been lost?

Not really - my sister is my co-pilot and if I am lost then it is her fault.

Atlantic in Newfoundland and Florida
Pacific in Hawaii and New Zealand

Yes

No - everyone would leave

Done something you told yourself you wouldn't?

Yes - walked a couple of expansion bridges - but it took many years and trips before I could bring myself to do it.
