What do you do for a living? Or are you lucky enough to be retired?
Yes - I haven't seen most school friends since 1962. We moved back to the area in 2005. Previously, we lived in Charlotte NC area for 15 years, and before that in Oakville. I worked for a German Company, and travelled the US and Canada, as well as many trips to England and Germany. It is really good to be back!! Except for snow and salted roads, of course.
It kind of morphed from selling power tools for Ingersol Rand to the car assembly plants. After we returned from the US, I met a former competitor, and he asked me to rep his company in Ontario
Drove a Nascar race car at Charlotte Motor Speedway, enjoyed a Roman meal at a toga party in an original Roman town on the banks of the Rhine, visited the RMS Queen Mary in Long Beach California, 50 years after emigrating from England on the Queen Mary
Yes, worst time was while fishing up North of Lake Superior - very scary in the thick bush - after calming down, and sitting and thinking I realised where I had gone wrong, retraced my path and found my way out.
