FOSTER, On December 23, 2008, J. Wayne Foster in his 69th year at his home in Brampton, peacefully and with dignity after a long and valiant battle with cancer. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Vel (Langlois) Foster; his mother, Marjorie M. Pritchard of Waterloo; his children, Brenda (Vince) Paoletti of Kitchener, Leigh Ann Kropf of Waterloo, Cory (Cheryl) Foster of Georgetown, his grandchildren Sherri Kropf and Giovanni Paoletti; his sister Elizabeth Dillon (Gary Lorentz) of Waterloo and nephews Sean Dillon of Oakville and Kieron (Kim) Dillon of Ohio. Also remembered by his Aunts, Marion Carroll and Jean Hinks Fleet both of Norwich, Uncle Ken Farrell of Waterloo as well as numerous cousins. Wayne was also a cherished member of the Langlois family. Will be dearly missed by his little friend Lucy. Predeceased by his father, J.W. (Jack) Foster, step-father, Stewart E. Pritchard; grandparents, Archie and Ethel (Bond) Farrell, Joseph and Marion Foster, Aunt Erma Lemon and Uncles Glen Farrell and Lloyd Farrell. At Wayne’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at a later date. A heartfelt thank you to Vel, Cory and Cheryl for their loving and tender care of Wayne, especially in his final days. For those who wish, a donation to the local Humane Society may be made in Wayne’s memory.
