Where do you live now? Norwich, ON Canada
Are you married, single,? Married
Do you have children? If so how many. Tell us about them. I have two girls, Tiffany, a lab tech Assistant has a daughter and Krista an accountant has two sons..
What do you do for a living? Or are you lucky enough to be retired? I am retired from nursing...
Yes! Attending Reunion
Do you have any memories of your high school years? Tell us!

Many. Mr Gorman directing traffic, Mr Gorman disapproving of my culottes(many times). Hmmm Why couldn't we wear them again? Mr. Loveday (one of my favorite teachers) and Mr. Watt (I did so well in math till he had to leave) lol. Walking to school in the freezing cold, hoping Mr. Croft would give us a lift.(which he did many times). Hiding in my locker(sometimes you just needed a double lunch). The mac and cheese and shepards pie in the cafeteria, along with the fresh bread from Scholten"s bakery. mmmmmm. Wearing my bikini on stage for a xmas pagent.(What was I thinking?) lol I"m sure I didn't come up with that idea!!! Another memory I have was in history with Mrs. Beecraft. She said " Are you sure you are related to Keith??"

Are you looking forward to the reunion?

Yes, Working hard to get the weekend off so I can attend some of the events. Left Norwich in 1970 to attend nursing school. Lived in Kitchener for about 41/2 years, working at St. Mary's Hospital. Both of my children were born there, then we returned to Norwich. Worked at the Oxford Regional Center for a very long 14 months then got a job in Brantford. Intended to stay only a couple years till I found work in Woodstock or Tillsonburg. That didn't happen so after 5 years I decided to stay there and besides by then I really really liked my job and still do. Although nursing has changed to some degree (too much time spent on computers) that now I find less time is spent with the clients. :(. Also I'm not sure how well the degree nurses can handle work loads when they have so little time doing clinical now a days.

Do you still have family around Norwich?

My daughters and grandchildren all live here as well as my husband...

How often do you get back to Norwich?

Live here but believe it or not I do not know many people anymore.

What do you do now?

I care for my husband..I get my grandsons off to school 4 days a week..I volunteer at the pubic school one morning a week...I raise my granddaughter who has just started college this year...

How did you get into that line of work?

Quite by accident. I didn't like the Rehab floor I was working on and applied to Obstetrics. Thought I'd work there till a surgical floor opening came along but knew the first day I was there, that was where I should be. For some reason my fortay is young moms. I am straight up with them about the hardships, sex, education, etc. My favourite time was when I worked as a scrub nurse in Labour and Delivery.

What did you always want to do that you haven't done yet?

One thing, not going back to get my RN's. I would love to be able to speak fluent french and also know sign.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Hmmm, Well when and if I get any spare time I like to ride my motorcycle. I like to read, and tole paint but mostly I love to spend time with my grandchildren. Lots of sleep overs!!!

How old do you feel?

Most of the time I feel about 25.

Any grey hair yet? Women don't have to honestly answer this one:)

Well since I had grey hair when I was fourteen I'm sure there is more. One of these days when I retire I might find out. lol

I have found out...I have white hair..lol

What would we be surprised to know about you?

Anything chocolate and raspberry!! but I will try other foods as well like "Black Jack Cherry" frozen yogurt. mmmm lol

Favorite Movies?

I have met many interesting people, most not famous. I guess the most famous would be the Gretzky's.

Cool things you've done in your life?

Always took vacation on our motorcyles. I think we did this so we could not bring anything much home with us, but as years past one can find room for most things and then there is always UPS!! lol Met many interesting people and you see the country in a different light.

Vacationed with my grandchildren to Disney, been to Punta Cana...

Any words of wisdom?

I don't think I was put here to be a "Great" person but I do hope I am at least a "Good " person.

I would rather die believing there is a God and then find out there isn't one than not to believe there is a God and die to find out there is one.
