The Camera Club from 68 to 71 and several hours a week in the darkroom, this permited me to travel with the school sport teams and more on the away from home games and events.

Are you looking forward to the reunion?

I was at the 2002 renuion.

Do you still have family around Norwich?

in Tillsonburg and London Ont.

How often do you get back to Norwich?

I will be back again soon, once or twice a year.

What do you do now?

Retired at 66, some free lance work.

How did you get into that line of work?

Much of the technical work has dried up in the past few years, and is irregular or short term.

What did you always want to do that you haven't done yet?

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Try out new recipes, check out the weather channel and news on TV, go for walks, check out the deals, flea markets, music or arts events, look after my Burmese cat Suzy (she chats a lot)

How old do you feel?

This depends on how much Aleve and Tylenol is in my system at any given time. My doctor tells me that all is well, otherwise :-)

Any grey hair yet? Women don't have to honestly answer this one:)

The grey comes and goes, almost, then it comes again. A solution which I buy at Shoppers may have something to do with that.

What would we be surprised to know about you?

Not sure, what would I be surprised to know about you? Maybe we can share notes.

Did you have any nicknames in school?

I have been called "Professor" back in High School. I read the London Free Press, Time, Life National Geographics and watched TV on Canadian and US stations (we had a good TV antenna setup) and was well informed.

Biggest thing you would do differently if you went back to your time at NDHS?

Get to know some of the really nice and interesting young women a bit better for sure.

Favorite Drinks?

Rye whisky and ginger ale (the low cal kind from no-frills).

Various imported and domestic beers and ales,

Also some of those healthy fruit and veggie drinks.

Favorite sports?

I am an observer not a player however the world cup soccer was entertaining and I am getting more engaged in understanding golf.

It is harder to find people who like to play tennis.

I was a pretty good Curler in my prime, won some awards.

Favorite Food?

Anything which does not contain Tumeric as I get all sweaty over that.

Favorite Movies?

I love those science fiction end of the world type movies, some classic westerns, romance, comedy and documentaries.

Favorite Music?

I will listen to just about any kind or style of music. My car radio is tuned to local rock and light rock, CBC, Tillsonburg, London, Woodstock etc.

I still have a soft spot for the Moody Blues from the late 60's to mid 70's

Famous or interesting people you've met?

You folks should check out the profile on Google of John Avey from Norwich and his singing, wow.

I have met and talked briefly with several Canadian political leaders, cabinet ministers and some very important military leaders.

Cool things you've done in your life?

Spent 3 months in Northern Norway at Setermoen (way up near the shared border with Sweeden and Finland near the E6) on a NATO exercise with the Ace Mobile Force in 1984. There were weeks when the day time temps were less than 45 below zero Celcius. That's cold.

Any words of wisdom?

We get old too early and smart too late.

Ever gone on a blind date?

Yes, met both my ex wives that way.

Ever helped a stranger?

Yes.

Did you ever skip school?

No, never felt the need to.

Ever been lost?

Yes only for about 20 minutes. I have been told that being in love forever lasts forever and the same for eternity lasts forever PLUS 20 minutes.

Swam in the ocean? And where?

Yes, in Halifax NS, I splashed around some in Vancouver BC

Cried yourself to sleep?

Perhaps when I was much younger.

Ever sang Karaoke?

Yes, in Chilliwack BC and in London ON

Done something you told yourself you wouldn't?

Yes, voted for a different party than usual in the last election.

Made prank phone calls?

Yes

Laughed until some kind of beverage came out of your nose?

Yes

Danced your heart out?

I would say only during many Octoberfest celebrations in Germany.

Been kissed under the mistletoe?

Yes, the real stuff.

Watched the sunrise with someone?

Yes, and and in other non romantic occasions as well.

Blown bubbles?

Yes

Been skinny dipping?

Yes

Sat outside in the rain?

Yes and while in the military I was on guard in the rain many times. (don't worry we were equipped for that)
