Burdette graduated from BSU and then completed Law School at the University of Idaho. We then returned to Nyssa to raisethe three kids we had then and to complete our family. All of our six kids graduated from Nyssa High. Burdette practiced general law for 14 years before becoming a Circuit Court Judge for the State of Oregon in Vale. I helped raise kids, ran a fabric store, worked in an advertising agency, law office, Soil and Water Office, and became a Watershed Coordinator for the Malheur River area. We did try living in Ontario for a few years but I missed the farm so last year we returned to the 'old' farm and now I am back in the county where I belong. And we love it..
