I served on a mission for my church from 1971-1973, I served in Denver for 6 months, then Alequerque, N.M. for 4 months then Roswell, N.M. for a total of 6 months, then Hobbs, N.M. for 2 months, then ElPaso, Tx. for3 months and traveled throughout the mission from the headquarters in Holbrook Arizona for 4 months. I came to love working with the Native American people. I worked with my father on the farm for about 3 years. During that time I married Diane Martarano from Payette, Idaho, we have celebrated 35 years of marriage. I worked as a lineman for Idaho powerfor about 4 years, I fell down a pole and messed up my back, I worked for Home Daries for a couple of years then I went back to school. I became an Insurance professional, I esstablished my one agency about 9 years ago, in Fruitland. With my insurance work, my family has been able to travel all over the United States, and we have also traveled to Canada, Mexico, England and Switzerland. Honestly my life has not been that exciting, except the fact that I have 8 and soon 9 grandchildren, and all my children have married very well. I love my family and we are all very close, even if we don't live real close we are all very involved in each others lives. My family is thee most important thing to me, so there really isn't any else to say. I do miss the friendships I made while I was in school, I feel very lucky for coming from such a great school as Nyssa.
