Comments:

I have worked at several different jobs since graduation--field work, work in retail stores, County Clerk's office, land title company, County Assessor's office, spraying weeds for the Owyhee Irrigation District, work at Sunset Market (helping milk cows on the side), and finally I am working at the Adrian School District-yes, it is nice to have summer's off!! I have actually enjoyed all the work I have done. Working with the public has been great for me to get out of my shell (but I still find myself sticking around it). I really like working at school with the kids--all ages. I haven't wondered far from the old stomping grounds--one of those "like it here" people. I enjoy our "no traffic" and the slow pace we have around here. I have been married, divorced, and remarried. Tom and I have two boys who are each married; the younger one married first and has a little boy of his own now. He is a cutie!! I don't get to see the older son too often because he lives in Salem, OR. I get to see the younger son about once a week (and the grandson!). We all like to get together to go camping, which is not very often. Sometimes, the guys get together to go hunting, then I get to go camping! It has been nice whenever I have gotten to see any of the local Nyssa alumni, but it will be nice to see the ones who don't get to be here very often. See ya! Yea Bulldogs!

School Story:

I really can't recall any funny incidence (although, I am sure there are some). I just remember sitting in Mr. Keveren's class and the class just sitting and talking about anything that they wanted to because he was so deaf, but sometimes he got a little suspicious and ask if we were studying. Of course everyone nodded their heads and said that they were. Working at school, I don't see that it has changed much through the years!
