After high school, I worked one campaign at the sugar factory in Nyssa, then 5 years at the Coop. I went to work for my dad in april of 1974 as a carpenter and worked for him until 1980. In August of 1980 I moved my family to San Antonio, Tx. where I attended International Bible College for four years graduating in 1984 with a Bachelor of Theology degree. I started my own construction company to support my family and stayed four more years in San Antonio before moving back to Nyssa for a year and then started working in the Sacramento Ca. area as a contractor and moved my family there in 1991. In l994 I moved back to Nyssa and began building houses. In August 1997 I was ordained into the ministry and became Pastor of the Lighthouse in Nyssa. I am now Pastor and contractor. Last year I started a new store called Bathroom Solutions selling and installing tub and shower surrounds. My daughter Jennifer lives in Meridian, Id. and works at Macy's in Boise. James lives in Boise and drives truck for Schwan's. John lives in Boise and works at Macy's as well as going to college. Jesse is still home, he works for me but is thinking college might not be a bad alternative to construction work. My wife of 39 years, Juanita has worked many places including Holy Rosery in Ontario, many daycare and preschools. She started ABC daycare and learning center in San Antonio before we left. She work for Little Folks University in Folsom, Ca. while we were in California. After moving back to Nyssa she went to work at Walmart in the photo lab and stayed there for ten years. On Father's day 2003 she shattered her knee cab and was forced to quit the job she loved. She now take photo's at wedding and special events. She is also a CASA volunteer helping children in need. She is also in charge of the children's church program at the Lighthouse.
