I can't wait to see you all at the reunion. An older friend of mine told me years ago that the 20 year reunion is more fun than the 10 year, as by 20 years, everyone is more inclined to relax instead of proving that they have accomplished enough. I ALWAYS thought you all were swell...;o)
That said, here's what I have been up to: I went to school in Kansas City for a few years, then transferred to UN-L to get my Bachelor's and Master's in Speech Language Pathology. In the middle of those years (it took me a while), I lived in Idaho for a wee bit, joined the Army Reserves as a medic, lived in a roachy apartment with Kim and Bridget, served in Saudi Arabia in Desert Storm (it's true what they say, it's not the HEAT, it's the HUMIDITY).
Met my hubby on a blind date and married him eleven months later. Eleven months after that, we were parents. I worked as a Speech Pathologist for a while, then stayed home with the rapidly arriving babies. This was something that some fo you would not want to do, but I LOVED it. Reading stories, taking walks, making play dough...right up my alley. Worth living a macaroni and chesse lifestyle for.
The kids have gotten bigger, and they are not perfect, but they're pretty great. I promise to bring pictures to the reunion and fascinate everyone with more stories. ;o)
I went back to work part time as a preschool teacher a few years back (more play dough), and as a speech path finally this year. I think that is about it.
