Hap Fakkema

I am currently working at Island County Road Department in Coupville. I sold the cows Jan. 21, 2001, but still lease the land out to a crop farmer. I enjoy traveling to see my older boy play soccer for the University of Redlands in California, and doing various other things with my wife and two boys at home.I have been married for 21 years! I officiate boys basketball. I had the chance to officiate with a fellow classmate at the state tournament this past year.(Rich Railsback)

I remember George Peck always telling us a joke before we hit the basketball court. I also remember quitting my senior year and playing intermurals with Steve Eidsmoe. The reason I quit was because Lonnie Kyser sweat like a pig! Ha. No hard feelings Lonnie?
