Got in a major car accident on my way home from work at Les Schwab oct. 27th '99. I was trapped in my car for about 2 hours and almost didnt make it out. Got some brain damage, broke my legs, was bed ridden and lost the use of my right hand for a few months. Ever since then I've just been trying to get back to my old self again. I'm almost there, still have issuse talking, my left leg is an inch shorter then my right and is being held together with titanium rods and screws, got a titanium plate in my right arm but it works fine now. I just keep pushing myself. I dont want to let anything stop me or slow me down. As for the ladie in my life, I married me an Arkansas girl named Angie back in '05. We met in front of starbucks in O.H. out of a common interest, we both had lifted Jeep cherokees! She was in school to be a nurse, and she was pretty so ya know, perfect girl for me. Once she got her RN a couople years ago We got a house on some property on whidbey and got a couple of min pin dogs, (no kids planned any time soon) and are just workin away. I was fianally strong enough to start working back at Les schwab in 05 also, It's still hurts all over all the time but it's not as bad as it used to be. All my time that isnt spent with Angie is devoted to anything with wheels or goes fast. My near death accident didnt slow me down there. My hobby is building cars and jeeps, riding dirt bikes and quads, and RC cars and planes(for When I'm too tired to hop on a bike). I also am getting into auto racing. Of course I still have my cherokee which is lifted and we have taken all over from eastern washington to walker valley to sand lake dunes in Oregon. I'm in the process of building a 67 jeep M-715 military truck, 42in swampers 540horse 454, full drivetrain swap, all that good stuff. and a few rows of seats in the bed to take the family out on the trails. My daily driver is a little beater toyota truck with a chevy vortec 4.3L swap and is gonna have a long travel suspension sometime in the future. My plan is to run one of the short 250 mile baja races with my dad in mexico when it is done. Last and the fastest is our 06 Subaru WRX STI. I've been taking it to road race school at pacific raceways, I have my sport racing license and if things go well I might get my SCCA Racing license next year. Untill then I'm just gonna try to go to the track as much as I can on open track days and go to as many tracks as I can. I've tried drag racing but it's not as fun or exciting as the road course. I'm running the Silver State road rally next year with my dad in Nevada as my first major rally, should be good times. Got His and hers quads that we take out with the rest of the family. we go to sand dunes from southern Oregon to eastern Washington, and have been to most of the major mountain trails in NW Washington. My wife is awesome, she supports my adrenalin addiction, and TRIES to keep my safe.
