I was in the US Army Reserve for 7 years, and then transfered to the US Army National Guard for 2 years. I got married in September 1993. After having my son Rob, my husband and I made the decision for me to stay home and raise our children. My kids are 12 and 9 now. Now I just work out, take photo's, and play bus driver to my kids. The glorified life of today's stay-at home mom. Did I mention, I love to shop?
Now that my daughter is trying cheerleading, I had the opportunity of painting my first sign. Everyone, told my how great it looked, but what they don't know is the extensive experience I have with that. My school memory that I just shared with my daughter, is about the countless times that the cheerleading squad would pile up in Karen Moran's moms station wagon, and decorate the football players houses with huge posters, and lots of crepe paper. Can you imagine with today's curfew, seat belt laws, and distruction of private property ordinances were in effect or enforced back then? We would all be in jail. As a parent now, I know I would enjoy all of the fun, but most people I know would have called the police or the school about the T-P ing we did on a weekly basis. It was great fun. Thanks for the memories girls and guys!
