Jean Adair Desmond received a BA and Masters of Library Science at University of Illinois.  She was an avid reader, classic movie fan, and collector of paper dolls and painted cells from animated movies.  She volunteered at the A.D.O.P.T. animal shelter in Naperville and the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Museum in Oak Park.  She is survived by her husband, Michael, and their daughter, Clare.
