Cookie and I were usually paired in all of the music-performing groups in high school. My debate team activity prevented me from taking a lead role in the operetta, but otherwise Cookie was always my partner. The only thing bigger than her voice and talent was her heart. She was witty, charming, and most of all caring. She has remained fondly in my memory through all these years, having made an indelible, positive mark on who I was and was to become. I will be forever grateful.

I had the good fortune to share my grade and high school years with Cookie. She was a good friend, an amazing talent and a beautiful person. Many of my Oak Park memories are filled with the times we shared. My sympathy to her family and friends...

I liked Cookie a lot from the first time I met her in Freshman year. She was beautiful, smart, and very kind. And, wow, that magical voice! We were casual friends throughout high school and whenever we would bump into each other in Oak Park during the ensuing decades, she was always still like a breath of fresh air and a ray of sunshine. So sad to think she's gone.My condolences to her family and friends,
Susan Tevogt (Augustyn)
I am so sorry to hear about cookies passing. She sang in my wedding 50 years ago and what a blessing it was. She was one of the few people that lived close to me when we were in high school. I pray for her family that they will have peace

Whenever I think of music at OPRFHS, Cookie comes immediately to mind. We were together in choirs and vocal ensembles throughout the four years, and I never failed to be amazed and inspired by her beautiful voice, musicality, unfailingly positive personality, and kind ways. She was such a gifted singer who always made the art of music seem so effortless and was able to use that gift to touch the lives of others! I hope her family can find some small comfort in the fact that she is remembered so fondly for having had such a strong impact on so many of us at OPRFHS.

I had a pleasure of being part of acapella choir and she was always our Lead singer and STAR. She had the most beautiful voice and her physical beauty matched her roles in the musicals. She was kind and so lovely to all who crossed her path. I'm sure her family has great memories and hope that they were able to enjoy and witness her talents as well. MarilynNoonan (Ames) Blessings to her family.
