Hey Family... let's start preparing for your 2010 Annual family reunion. We have some fundraiser suggestion and ideals to make this reunion trip less expensive. But keep in mind all family participation is needed. We realize that the recession is upon us, but with faith we can over come any things that is placed in our way.

Fundraiser Ideal/ Suggestion:

Yard Sale/Bake Sale: Last year our region had major yard sale for the whole summer, We had everyone donate clothes, bake item, toys, etc. All the money went into a savings and it was devided they day we left to travel to the reunion. It was divided to family members who participate in this fundraise, it help pay for their Gas, Food, and lodging for a night.  

Family Bible Study Night: We meet every Wednesdayfor bible study and at the end of bible study , We give Family Reunion offering and it all goes into an envelope, it is added with the yard & bake sale money. It is all divided up equally. we keep accurate records.

Family Reunion Savings: Every family members have an envelope with their names on it,  some give $20 a month or more, Your envelope is sealed up and you receive all of the envelopes back in May, that Friday before we travel to Porterville. So when you leave you will get all your saving envelope plus your money for the bible study offering & yard & bake sale.

Family Reunion Money making ideas:

Family Bingo Night: Play games & donate to Reunion Fund

Car Wash: At your house or friends house, local restuarant

Purse Party: Your house or friends house, have family members invest $25 or more in purses and all the sales go to reunion fund.

Bake Sale: Cookies, Cakes, at home , yard sale or church functions, have to ask permission from church pastor or elders, etc
