After a very brief stint in neuroscience grad school at UCSD, I went med school there and did all my training there, ending up as an endocrinologist. I worked in many settings from Scripps Clinic, a FQHC where I was med director caring for a very diverse population. In 2006 my vascular surgery husband retired and we moved to Incline Village NV, where we lived for twelve years. I retired in 2015 and not long thereafter we moved back to San Diego where we are enjoying retired life, traveling a lot, visiting 4 grandkids and living the good life.
