50th Reunion Giving

Celebrate 50 Years and Leave a Lasting Legacy

Our 50th Reunion is more than a milestone—it’s a moment to celebrate where our Oberlin journey began, to reconnect with lifelong friends, and to reflect on how Oberlin has shaped your life and helped launch a lifetime of purpose.

Our 50th reunion giving honors this legacy and helps ensure that Oberlin continues to inspire generations of students to think critically, act boldly, and make a difference in the world.

50th Reunion Giving Goal and Purpose

Each year, the 50th Reunion Committee sets an ambitious and meaningful goal for the 50th Reunion class to achieve. Our class is working toward a bold goal: $6 million in gifts and commitments by June 30, 2026. Every gift made from now through June 30, 2026, counts toward this goal. Our class has already raised $2.9 million and counting!

50th Reunion giving totals include a combination of future gifts (such as bequests, planned gifts, or trusts) and current gifts that have an immediate impact. Both can be designated for a specific purpose or made without restriction to provide Oberlin with the flexibility to meet emerging needs.

Every 50th Reunion Gift Counts!

Our collective generosity helps Oberlin remain a place where passion meets purpose. All forms of gifts, including those below, count toward the class giving goal.

  • Planned gifts (such as qualified charitable distributions, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, and donor advised funds) that can provide you with tax and income benefits while supporting Oberlin's future
  • Will or trust provisions that leave a lasting legacy in your estate plans
  • Outright gifts of cash, securities, or other assets
  • Multi-year pledges that allow you to make a larger impact over time
  • Gifts to the Annual Fund that make an immediate impact
