Hello all...I'm researching service details of my sister-in-law's dad, CAPT. Ted Lee Hodges. He served with 20th TFW/55th TFS and was
killed Sep 8, 1967 in an F-100D crash at or near Tuz Golu in Turkey. Information from the time is sketchy, any help would be appreciated.
Message me directly if you like...thanks!

Ted went to Texas Tech and began a jet pilot. I believe he was killed in a jet training accident in the very early 60's.Linda Martin (1957) (Robertson)
Ted and I " went steady" in high school and two years of college. He went to Texas A&M on a scholarship and became an engineer but went into the USAF as a pilot after college. He was a wonderful friend. Because we met other people, we married them. I was at his mothers the day she found out he had been killed in a crash in Turkey. It was a terrible time for them as well as his wife who was named Linda Kay also. I never met her but am sure she was a special person just like Ted. Linda Martin Robertson. I can be reached here on this page if his daughter has questions. I look forward to visiting about him.

I'm sorry my info was in error.

My wife's step dad was Ted and Johnny's uncle. Brother to Mabel Chatham Hodges. We were told that Ted was doing low level (under radar) training and he caught a wing in the lake and crashed. I do no know any more detail than that. I never met him but understand he was a prince of a guy.
