I met my husband at the University of Arizona. We married in 1965 and settled in Phoenix. My husband founded a small insurance agency. He ran the business until we sold it in 1998. I got to be a "stay at home" mom after a very short teaching career. I volunteered some in the community and then in the 90s kept books for our business. Our sons each have two children (3 boys and a girl). They live close and the grandchildren all go to the same school. Bob and I spend a great deal of time with the grandchildren.
