Warren "Kyle" Young, 48, of Carrolton Texas, passed away on July 27, 2014 in his home.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday August 2nd at Rhoton Funeral Home with Stuart Sherman officiating. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Castor LA at a later date. 

Kyle was born in Odessa Texas to Darrel and Merlene Young on September 10, 1965. He went to school at Odessa High School. He married Susan Young on December 24, 2013 in Arlington Texas. He devoted his life to the service and protection of others. He began his career as a volunteer firefighter at the age of 16. After high school, he enlisted in the Air Force and served for 4 years overseas in Fire Protection. Once home, he worked as a Fire Investigator, a Fire Chief, an EMS Coordinator, and a Fire Marshal. After many years of public service he began working in the private sector of Fire Investigation. He earned his Associates Degree in Fire Science from the Harold Washington College. He is a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators, the National Association of Fire Investigators, the National Association of Marine Investigators, and the Texas Chapter of the International Association of Fire Investigators. Kyle was a loving Father, Grandfather, Husband, Son, Brother, and Friend. 

Kyle is preceded in death by his mother Merlene Young and his brother John Little. 

Kyle is survived by his spouse Susan Young, his children Justin Young, Kimberley Young, Leslie Beck, John Beck, James Osborne, and Trey Hicks, his sister Dianne Majors, and his father Darrel Young survive Kyle. He also leaves behind three grandchildren, Branson Beck, Jace Beck, and Ethan Young.
