Wow! So much has happened since 1989! It feels like a lifetime ago, and I suppose since we were only 18 at the time, that 20 years IS another lifetime, eh?

I graduated from USU with a BS in Secondary Math Ed and a Minor in Music Ed. I served an LDS Mission to Montreal, Canada. I've been married (twice). I have 2 boys from my first marriage (Corey and Gabe), I inherited a girl and a boy (Shelby and Stetson) from my 2nd marriage, and we had one more boy (Cameron) to make 5 kids total.

I have taught at 9 different schools, mostly part-time, but I once taught math full-time for 2 years at Ben Lomond High when I first started teaching. I took a 5 year "break" from teaching when I married the 2nd time, but after getting restless, and volunteering an insane amount of hours teaching a music program for my kids elementary school, I decided I may as well get paid if I was going to put in the time, so I returned to teaching.

Currently I teach French, Math, CTE and Guitar at my kid's k-8 charter school part-time as well as MAT800 at UVU part-time. I'm 1/2 way through my Master in Educational Leadership program at Argosy University. I should be finished in December 2009 :)

That's about all the updates. Can't wait to see what everyone else has been up to at the reunion!

School Story:

To this day I have nightmares about Mr. Peterson's partner Calculus test. I still remember him putting our numbers in the computer to "randomize" the partners. When my name was called and then matched to Paul Skeen's for the partner test, I just remember Paul jumping out of his seat and whooping and hollaring yelling, YES! YES! an A in the bag! I'm sure my face was redder than my hair! I was sooooo embarrassed to have all that hoopla over who my test partner would be! (Thanks Paul!)
