Alan and I were inseparable during our Weber High School days and after. He was my best friend. We lived on the same block. One day Alan and I went into the grocery store where his mother worked. She introduced me to a fellow coworker of hers who became my wife of 56 years and counting. We often drive by Alan's house in Roy and also the busy corner of 1900 West and 5600 South in Roy where I went with Alan that day and ended up meeting my wife. The old grocery store that used to be there disappeared with the passage of time as did the old Weber High School
