Survived by wife Judy and son Sean. Alan was classmate Sandra Venable Larsen's brother-in-law. He was a kind, helpful person that will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
I will truly miss my classmate and Facebook friend alan... a good and intelligent progressive who I enjoyed chatting with. I think he left us because he just couldn't stand the thought of Donald Trump as President.
