Comments:

I worked at Commercialk Bank for several years after HS. Went to Weber College for special classes, then our family came along and I was a stay at home mom. I was/am still active in the LDS church in leadership, teaching positions and still playing the organ in Sac. meeting. I became active in PTA as Pres. of Sand Ridge Jr., then Roy Council Pres. and Region 2 Director. Some all of a sudden I was State PTA Treasurer then was elected as the State PTA President in 1997-1999. I was on the National PTA Board until 2001 over the Reflections program and on the Nat'l PTA Budget Committee. I spent so many hours traveling the state and country for 10 years. I met so many friends across the state and country, worked with lots of State Ed. people and the Govenor's committee's. I enjoyed those years but wore my self out!!! We sent 3 sons on LDS missions and now have our first grandson going to the Philpines. We enjoyed our kids growing up because they were so close in age, especially when they were all teenagers. Now they are all raising their own families. We have 21 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. The years pass too fast! We both have had some health problems, but hopefully we can soon go on a mission. It's fun to keep in contact with our old friends now our lives are less hectic! (except for the grandkids who need us). Ned and I have traveled to Germany where he went on his mission, and many other places
that were lots of fun.

School Story:

After HS, I didn't graduate from college, but I took classes for credit at Weber, and many classes at BYU during the summer, not all for credit. I traveled to Glasgow, Scotland with the U of U music department, and my sister Madalyn, to attend 10 days of piano teaching techniques, recitals, concerts, and some travel/ performances, before and after in England. Education is ongoing! It seems like I'm always learning something new. (The grandkids are always showing new things they learn in school)
