NaDeen Smith, age 50, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2012 at her parent's home of
liver failure.
NaDeen was born February 23, 1962 in Ogden, Utah to Normand and Marian Hunt, the oldest of
five children - the greatest big sister ever.
She grew up in Enterprise, Utah until she was 16 when the family moved to North Ogden, UT. She graduated with high honors from Weber High School, as well as LDS Seminary. She attended Weber State where she graduated with high honors earning her Bachelor's degree in accounting and graduated from LDS Institute.
She was an active member of the LDS Church, where she was very devoted and faithful. She had a strong testimony that was felt by many. She served in the Argentina Cordoba Mission. She served in the Primary and numerous callings with the Relief Society.
NaDeen was blessed with musical talent where she sang in many choirs, and played the piano, clarinet, guitar, and sax. She worked many years as an excellent accountant. She had a brilliant mind.
Everyone that knew NaDeen loved her. She had a talent for loving unconditionally and made those around her better people. Her love in life was children, especially the babies.
She married Carl Borup on February 12, 1988 in the Ogden Temple. They had two sons. They were later divorced.
She married Brian Smith on January 6, 2010. She is survived by her husband, Brian, of South Jordan; two sons, Douglas (Heather) Borup, and Dagan Borup of Taylorsville; mother Marian (Richard) Anderson of Cottonwood Heights; Brother and Sisters, Vance (Brenda) Hunt of Clearfield, LaDawn (Brent) Hansen of Syracuse, Vonya (Cory) Thompson of Salt Lake, and Teralee (Eddie Miller) Aubrey of Green River, WY; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by Grandparents, Father, and Step-Father.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Brighton 4th Ward Chapel, 2327 E Bengal Blvd. (7700 S.), Cottonwood Heights, UT. Friends may call two hours prior to the services at the ward, starting at 9:00 a.m.
Interment will be at the Washington Heights Cemetery in South Ogden.
The family expresses our deepest appreciation for the care given through IHC Hospice and special angels, Ana, Bonnie, Rebecca, and Pearson.

Nadeen was unfailingly kind and cheerful.  I am sure that her larger than life goodness and optimism still blesses the lives of many here and on the other side.
