Scott was born on November 8th, 1961 and passed away on August 1st, 2025 at the age of 63
Scott Michael Sheridan, born on November 8, 1961, was a caring husband, father, and grandpa who loved family and being together. He was an adventurous soul who found joy in the great outdoors. Known for his kind heart, Scott expressed a genuine interest in everyone he met. Having frequent meaningful conversations brought him great satisfaction. Scott's thoughtful nature made him well known and loved among his family, friends and community. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was a significant part of Scott's life, and he embodied the teachings of kindness and Christ-like compassion. One of his greatest priorities was living and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. He served in many church callings, including a full-time mission in Pennsylvania.
Born and raised in Ogden, Scott later lived in North Ogden and Harrisville, Utah. He met his wife, Christine, in an acting class at WSU and was married for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on October 14, 1987. Scott and Christine soon started a family, raising 5 wonderful kids and 11 grandkids. Always on the move, Scott created family traditions of skiing, dirt biking, camping, fishing, and traveling. He enjoyed all of these adventures with family the most. He took every opportunity to create fun memories with family and friends.
Scott is survived by his loving wife, Christine, his children: Jesse (Lindsay), James (Camille), Cajsa (Will), Lewis (Maddie), Ciera (Justin), his 11 grandkids (Evelyn, Asher, Marcus, Maia, Natalie, Isaac, Alina, Linnea, Lillian, Levi and Samuel), his brothers (Douglas, Kevin, Kenneth, Russell), and his father and mother, Michael and LaRaye. His sudden and unexpected absence (due to a pulmonary thromboemboli) will be felt deeply in the hearts of all who knew him. His family finds comfort knowing that he lived an abundant life surrounded by people he loved and the knowledge that families can be together forever.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, 09 Aug 2025 at 9:00am MDT, followed by a funeral service at 11:00am MDT at Myers Mortuary - 845 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah, 84404.
