On the fateful morning of November 15, 2012, Darren flew into the arms of his Savior, his mortal mission at a close. Darren did many great things in life, but his legacy and his greatest accomplishment is his family. He is survived by his six beloved children: Darren Craig, Jared Ray, Melissa, Laura, Jennifer, Jacob Hans; and the woman of his dreams and eternal companion, Janalee Leavitt Tidwell. Also survived by both of his wonderful parents, Ray and Karen Tidwell and four siblings: Rayleen (Patch) Bonkemeyer, Sheryl (Clay) Rushton, Quinn (Janel), and Dalin (Jen). He has been reunited with his elder brother Rex Reynolds Tidwell who preceded him in death. He loved to serve and he did so often; many people have been touched and blessed by him. He served faithfully in the Dallas, Texas LDS Mission. He will be sorely missed. He was born December 10, 1961 in Spokane, WA. Since he was a boy, he lived in the beautiful Ogden Valley. He enjoyed his adolescence in the home he and his family built together, the same home in which he lived at the time of his death with the family of his own. Huntsville will always be his earthly home where he will be remembered. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Huntsville LDS Chapel, 277 So. 7400 E. Friends may visit with family at the church Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Huntsville City Cemetery. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road.
