
Obituary: Arlene Archibald Holden returned to her Heavenly Father on July 15, 2006 after an extended illness. She was born on October 26, 1944 to William Russel and Mary Maycock Wade Archibald in Ogden, UT. On March 29, 1963 she married the love of her life Jesse L. Holden. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple. She is survived by her husband Jesse L. Holden of Washington, D. C.; Elizabeth Chadwick of Ogden; David (Susan) Holden of Atlanta, GA; Erica Holden of Taylorsville; Stefanie (Brian) Holtermann of Clarksville, TN; one sister Helen Durrant and ten grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Charles and James Archibald, her sister Kathryn (Holden) and grandson Matthew Michael Marquardt. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving as Relief Society President, Primary President, chorister, teacher, organist, and many other positions throughout the church. She served her fellowman worthily and with her whole heart. She was employed by the United States Treasury Dept. (IRS) where she was instrumental in developing several advanced IT programs. She was an active member of the Chesapeake Chapter of the Red Hat Society.
