Obituary for Roland Kent Dean

Roland Kent Dean born Jan.11 1944, to Arvil and Charlotte Dean in Ogden Utah. Kent is survived by his loving sister Judy Thompson (Cardston Alberta Canada). Kent was married to Rozann Nish Dean (deceased 2008). They are survived by their 5 sons, Kent Spencer, Calvin Brett, John Michael (Kristy), Thomas Chad (Jessica) & David Kolby. Kent lived a full and active life. Some of our most fond memories were the family activities involving the horses! Every day, he was out riding his horse Clyde, from sunrise to sunset. And if he wasn't with his horse, he was with his other animals he loved, especially his chickens. His other love in life was gardening, he could never have enough vegetables. He was successful in his career as a business owner at Dean's Hearing Aid Center. Kent served an LDS Mission in England and later served in multiple callings including as an active Temple Worker. He found joy in serving as a faithful Home Teacher and Minister. His 18 grandchildren were his greatest happiness.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday February 19, 2022 at the Pioneer Village Ward, 1066 West 200 North, Provo, Utah with a viewing to begin at II:00 am. Interment to follow at the Provo City Cemetery.
