Dennis Douglas Morgan 6/30/44 ~ 2/23/03 Dennis Douglas Morgan, loving husband and father, passed away February 23, 2003 in Salt Lake City at age 58. He was born June 30, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Roland and Carrol Morgan. He married LouAnn Ellison October 14, 1965 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Divorced in 1983, he remarried on February 18, 1984. He graduated from Ben Lomond High School and continued his education at Weber State University. Dennis pursued his career in government service, retiring in 1993 from Tooele Army Depot after 28 years as an engineering technician. Served his country honorably in the U. S. Navy/Naval Reserve, retiring after 28 years in 1994. Survived by his wife, Cherie Sedgley Morgan; children, James G. Morgan (Emma), West Valley City; Lisa Arnoldus (Bob), Magna; Elizabeth Knottnerus, Magna; Robert A. Bertholf, West Valley City; 10 grandchildren; mother, Carrol Morgan; brother Daryl Morgan (Jerri); and sister, Merlene Walters (Bill). Preceded in death by his father, Roland Morgan. Memorial services will be 4:00 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2003 at the Magna Utah Stake Center, 3084 South 8400 West, Magna, Utah. Directors: Peel Funeral Home.
