Willie had a sister whose name was Antje (Ann) Oenes Millspaw in her obituary, so probably Willie's last name is spelled Oenes.  Some things in Antje's obituary probably the same for Willie are the parents' names Jacob and Roelfje Oenes from Groningen, Netherlands.  Ann graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1960 and would spend many years enjoying the company of family and friends, traveling and enjoying life to the fullest, especially the times in Mesquite, Nevada with her sister Willy (as spelled in the obituary).  Ann died October 29, 2012, and her two sisters Willy and Ruby preceded her.  Ann's furneral was held at Leavitt's Mortuary, and I researched that website but could not find a funeral for Willy there.

Willie was a neighbor and lived on 2nd Street.  I seem to remember that she had a brother, Peter, also, but I may be mistaken.  There were several families in our neighborhood who had immigrated to Ogden from the Netherlands.  I think this was because they came to build a sub-division - Sherwood Park - which was headed by a Dutch man named "Reimersma".  The Sherwood Park development encompases 2nd Street to Douglas St from Jackson to VanBuren, a new home to my upwardly mobile, blue-collar family.  Willy was the middle daughter and absolutely gorgeous.  Another  62 classmate, Sandra Rasmussen, lived next to the Oenes family and I'll bet still lives there.  Janet Harris Eller
