Robert James

After high school I went on to WSU (Weber State) and graduated with a BS in Manufacturing Engineering. I married the love of my life, whom I met while stationed in Pusan, South Korea in June of 1989. I am now a proud member of the LDS Church (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints).

In my earlier assignments/ career I was stationed with the USAF at Hill Air Force Base and at Mountain Home, Idaho. I moved on to the US Forest Service in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (Region Ski Lift Engineer), and then to the USDA Animal/Plant Health Administration in Washington D.C.
I've worked 40+ years for the US government, with my last 4 years for DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) in England. Overall, I was stationed 14 years in South Korea, 9 years in Germany, 4 years in England.
Recently moved back to Ogden, 1 1/2 years ago (Dec. 2011) from RAF Molesworth, England.

My family and I enjoyed our time overseas. What a humbling experience it has been, and we've enjoyed many cultural experiences. Lots of traveling, and sightseeing as well makes for a good life and much appreciation for the country we live in.

I still enjoy driving my hot rod silver Corvette.

My major activities today include training my German Shepherd puppy, taking my daughter to PT every morning so she can pass her Army Officer Physical test.

I enjoy building and remodeling a lot of projects on my old house, and trying to be the best father I can. (Daughter, Paige: He's one wise father, and has taught me a lot and made me who I am today).
