Greg Sloan

Served 4 years in the U.S. Marine Corps and lived overseas in Asia for 3 years (Japan & Korea)

I arrived in Japan in May of 1987. I attended an American church outside the main gate Pastored by an American missionary to the military. I met his daughter who was home from college on her summer break. We started dating in July and I proposed in August and we had our wedding in October.

Attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va
Lobbied Congress for 2 years for conservative family/culture values
Started my first business in 1993 to current
-- bought and sold businesses
-- currently own and operate 5 business (Exxon service station w/auto repair; Business to Business Payroll Service Company; BlueRidge Logistics; A’S Investments (Commercial and Residential Rental property business).

I also help my son who has started his own business -- Dynamic Gymnastics. While in college, He competed at the national level and represented the USA at VISA competitions through out Europe (France, Russia, England, etc.) Working with 2 of my boys in the family business.

Wife and I are empty nesters. Currently grandparents of 6.

I was way to crazy in school. I wasn't ready for college so I went into the military. I think I needed the structure. 😊. Had a lot of great memories with Rob & Jim Stettler & Darin Johnson & the crew (with lots of beer 🍻). I Don't know how we survived,but I sure had some fun with these guys. I was only at Ben Lomond my Sr year of HS.
