Eric, I agree with you about everyone being alcoholics. But in Rhonda's case.......a stoner. Ha!

Ray, I cannot think of anyone I had a crush on at our school, but I will keep thinking.

Trent I truly believe there are some things not meant to be said. Just kidding and I know you were.

Hey Ky, how is Courtney? I don't remember if it was your car or hers but I remember every time you turned a corner the door would fly open.

My son is 17 and he is pretty boring just like I was in high school, but the year isn't over.

I This is a true story, the names have been changed to protect me from being killed at the reunion. My life/death experience was after the Friends/sweetheart ball or whatever we called it. My friend went with me and after the dance she wanted to go by a house. When she went by the house, she saw a car of a friend that I assume she was dating or liked and this car was at another female's home. She took out in my car going around the Belle Isle highway going about 100 to 120 mad, cursing, and crying about how sorry men were. I am happy to say I lived through that night.

I am raising three little girls by myself in Indiana. They are 7, 5, and 3, Rachael, LaBraia and Raven. They have a wonderful mother but for now we thought they would be better with me. I am grateful that although we could not remain together, we have decided that the best thing was for us to work together for the future of our girls. Rachael has my mouth and charm. She really believes there is no such thing as No. A no means she didn't ask the question right. LaBraia is slow to warm to you but when she does, she loves with all she has. The baby, I am not sure about yet, cute as a button but she plays the baby card real well.

okay does everyone really think we were a bunch of potheads and alchi's back then? ha!

It seems to me despite our wild days, everyone must have reserved a few brain cells, because from reading all the profiles, for the most part everyone has been pretty successful.

Ya know we are getting close to 40, which is really the "new 30" right? I am having a birthday Oct. 4th and I will gladly accept any b-day drinks! hehehee...just kidding.........

Although I made a need a few if I decide to get a tat! All I keep hearing is how bad it hurts! But they still got'em. I guess i better toughen up! We should get a picture of all of those with tat's at the reunion. But no indecent exposure please! We dont need anything showing you wouldnt show your mother! I wont even ask about piercings.

and Ray, yes, charm is one of your fine qualities. how tall are you now? You used to tower me.

Glad to see you made it thru your mad woman experience. You learned what we're capable of at a young age. We dont hurt you we just think about it!!....right ladies?

Kylene Cooper (Frantz)

Wow Ray, WHOEVER that was.... You should be happy you got away from her... She sounds like a lunatic..........completely unstable.

Tammy...
Hell, lets all GET tats at the reunion !!! (I may or may not actually do this FYI)

- YES we were all alkis or potheads and we ALSO managed to retain some brain cells..sort of.

Olga, That was Courtney's car (OMGLMAO) That was my life/death relationship...that car!!

Corkey is living in Portland Oregon. She is doing well and she has one son who is 13 I think. He is JUST LIKE HER...it is so bizarre!!
I will tell her you asked about her, that'll make her happy!!

08/27/08 09:51 PM #77

Ray Owens

No, Kylene she wasn't unstable at all. She was a wonderful person, in fact I hope over time I was half as good of a friend as she was to me. She helped me get the stick out of my butt that would have made me miss life.

No tats but I want one Tammy and BTW if anyone has not seem Tammy's picture, please go look at it she is still a knockout.

Robert Davy, you still look like the man, big tall man as well,

My mind is being robbed from me everyday but if memory serves me right that young lady had a stop traffic beautiful smile and engaging personality.

How does our school look. Did the MAPS program make it look better on the outside or inside or did any of the money go to our school?

08/27/08 10:37 PM #79

Tammy Rader

oh Ray...you're too much. There goes that charm again...

ok do we need to get with Bobby Dennis and not only have a comedian, but a tatoo artist there Friday night also? Who's in?........Or maybe we'll just check in at our 25th and see who followed through.

Oh and Eric, I remember cheering for alot of football games, did we really ever win any? (no offense) I guess if there is anything we could do, is win a fight, you're right! We learned to be tough.

I remember when a group of guys from Douglas came up to our school one day and one decided he was going to rip my necklaces off my neck and take off running. I think I scared the ! out of him when i dropped my books and started chasing him. I caught up with him in jocklot and started slapping him just like a girl. Ms. Nero showed up and Brad Flowers with his broken leg came to my rescue. I got my fake necklaces back broken and looked for him the rest of the day as we cruised the area. I didnt get my stuff back whole but most importantly, I did stick up for myself and showed him what a MAD woman can do(Ray)!!

Shanda Lusk (Lowery)

Hey Dawn-

How come you did not tell me about the crush you had on David? Now things make sense to me of why you always had a KOOL-AID smile on your face when you would talk to him.
LOL!!!I just thought of something funny.. What was the name of the guy who dragged your butt down the hallway? Do you remember how clean the floor was when you got up?
LOL!!!

Kylene Cooper (Frantz)

Tammy,

I know we have at least one tattoo artist in our class.

08/28/08 12:53 PM #83

Trent Littleton

Olga, Are you insinuating that I really didn't have a crush on Ray? That crush was hidden just like all the other crushes I had on people in highschool. I only reveal it now as I am older and more secure in my own skin than I was some 20 years ago. With that let's keep sharing. There has been reference to Ms. Nero and I concur on all accounts but let's be real people who can honestly say they didn't have a crush on either Mr. Culbert or Mr. Broughton...I mean seriously the hair alone on those two men were to die for, am I right? I mean it always took my breath away to see Mr. Culbert's beautifully combed over locks flowing in the breeze (in the opposite direction of the natural comb-over) on a windy day in Jock Lot. WHEW my heart is fluttering right now. In all seriousness I, like Ray, probably had a crush on quite a few of my classmates at one point or another through school. And yes Ray there were some lookers that were Cheerleaders and in closing I too have seen the picture of Tammy that you speak of and she has still got it going on.

08/28/08 03:02 PM #84

Tammy Rader

Trent,

you are hilarious....I can just hear you saying these things.
oh Mr. Culbert. I had him for Spanish and yes the comb-over was quite the sight. Always had a cup of coffee too. Mr. Broughton! uhh... He was the most boring teacher in history for me.

My dear friends, thank you...but you need to stop. This is a public forum and I'm sure not everyone wants to hear what you think of my picture! Ray, Trent, I'm not that great, I have a few more curves in the wrong places after 20 years!

Kye, who is the tat artist?

Tam

Laura Chrisman (Riley)

Okay Trent, maybe Culbert and Broughton are your guys, but let us not forget Mr. Cannon. Not only was he sporting the awesome doo, he had the BREATH to match. He always roamed the class quietly and would lean in REAL close with the heaviest breathing and say, "Hey, you need some help?" with an emphasis on the H in hey and help.

I remember one day in class when he approached Kylene. I just watched her when he leaned in and she immediately put her hand over her nose and mouth (God knows it was so bad you could probably taste it too, might have even been contagious). The more he talked, the more she leaned backwards. By the end of the instruction, she was in a full back bend, still covering her nose!!

Laura Chrisman (Riley)

So Kye, what's up with this story Ray tells of the girl driving down the highway? I don't know for sure, but after reading the posts I thought you could further elaborate!

Dawn, you're right about Polo's dad he did move back here. He had 3 brothers and 2 sisters in Stroud also. One sister, Vanessa, passed away over 25 years ago and one brother, Wayne, passed about 7 or 8 years ago. He comes back now and then to see his other brothers Stevie and Ronnie, and sister, Kay(in Bristow now). Not too often, he mostly comes for the unfortunate funerals.

Tammy, don't forget cooking and cleaning.

Laura, LOL about Mr. Cannon. I remember that certain nice quality of his as well! A few years ago we attended a church, and there he was as a greeter or something. I spoke to him some...I felt horrible 'cause back then I always had an attitude with him-did'nt we all? And now I'm supposed to be a respectable adult... trying to make nice! Ugh...well, we ended up going there for a while, but I never got too close! Hopefully he uses the mints that the church provides up front!

I knew ya'll would help me out. Cooking and Cleaning, how could I leave that out!

Joey, I agree. Bulges in the right places! I am talking biceps and buns. Get your head out of the gutter!

No really, I know that is not realistic in this fast- paced world, but you should want to be healthy.

OK... if we are going to talk about teachers... what about the best, coolest teacher ever....Bro Carpenter!
I had him 6th hour, he took roll, gave us our assingment and started talking..then it was either time to go to the bathroom, or a quick slip out the window. I think everyone in the class made an A just as long as you showed up. God bless that dear man.:o)

08/28/08 10:31 PM #93

Joey Moon (Dunlap)

Oh Yes, Bro Carpenter was the sweetest ever. Who remembers Coach Denton ?--if Im thinking correctly... I just remember in 9th &/or 10th grade, you did not want to be caught in the hall after the bell rang, 'cause if he was there, you had better hide! They gave out swats back then!
